I work at the ARC (Activities and Recreation Center) at the University of Washington Bothell as a Building Manager. Due to COVID-19, our facility closed, however our manager gave us the opportunity to work from home doing research projects.

For my at home work, I worked on creating models that could be 3D printed for use in the ARC. Additionally, I created gcode that could be used to print these models, which included estimates on time and material requirements.
IPod mount

Currently the IPod we use to play music in the fitness center sits inside a plastic cup (left) hanging from the wall panel. I created a holder for the IPod, which would sit on this wall panel, and support it from the bottom and sides, while still allowing the cord and headphones to be inserted
Power switch cover

The AV manager mentioned that their system has a power switch which occasionally gets pressed by students by accident, knocking the AV system for the ARC offline for some time. This switch cover would keep it from being accidentally pressed, with a simple small print.
